There are 11 electric sites available in the Mohawk Loop and 8 cabins available in the next loop.

Our attendee count has increased...We have my daughter, son-in-law and youngest grandaughter joining us totalling 4 adults and 1 child.

Your Apache should be nice and warm then with all those bodies.

Thingette1 you mention #76-99, but it looks like the rally is suggesting the loop upto #74
RnRnRnCB

Justchillin: all the sites should work for you. I suggest 76-104 because that is the flatter side of the loop. The lower numbers are up and down hill.

Robin, I'm not sure if dogs are allowed at the venue. You may want to check on that since you normally bring Rocky with you. If we decide to go and the girls get to stay behind at camper, I'm sure they would babysit Rocky.

The Group Rally Zone! / Re: PotLuck Dinner Themes
« on: September 05, 2017, 01:24:38 PM »
I like the idea of a country (ie: France, Germany, etc) theme.  HuskyCampers and I did a Civil War theme for the Gettysburg trip, and I was pleased to see what every one came up with as a dish that was Northern or Southern.  It's also neat to learn more of the area we're in, if it's Upstate New York, are there regional dishes that could work.  And don't forget , nothing wrong with ordering 25 pizzas! LOL
We haven't done a "take out" theme (whether truly ordered and delivered, or made by attendees served from takeout boxes).

Is anyone interested in the country music festival Sunday afternoon in Lancaster? Here is the link to it. http://www.wiov.com/fallfest-26/ It's just $5! For anyone that isn't in the area/have a Turkey Hill Convenience Store nearby to get your tickets, I could be persuaded to pick up a few for you.  ;)

FYI: Be sure to bring lots of leveling blocks, etc. You will be bumper to the ground in the back and all the way up on the tongue jack on the front.

That sounds right. You can always reserve for a few days ahead of when you want to be there and after 15 days change the ressie to start on the actual day you want to arrive (If that's still allowed. Please check the rules for clarification).

Towing / Re: Truck with cap and a/c?
« on: July 31, 2017, 07:21:10 PM »
Butch/Jenn: I think I'd go the Suburban route too.

I don't think that truck had AC, my dear sister. But, at the time, neither did the house. We were just used to the heat better. Truck cap had windows too, so I think parents just opened the front windows and the air flowed through.

My parents did a truck cap and slider window for us kids.  It worked for Heat and air.  There was an inflatable thing that went in the opening.  I don't remember getting really hot or cold with that system and we had relatives 4 hours away that we went to see at all times of the year.
