General Campfire Discussion / Re: 2010 starcraft 1224 popup

Sorry, not sure. Never had to deal with the winch. Mine is behind the shower/toilet combo, so I think I would pull off the front plastic panel to get to it. Anyway you look at it, it's probably a major disassemby process.

I have a jayco and all of the lift cables are inside the camper behind the cabinets. While it keeps them from being damaged, it is a pain to access. Yes, I would have to remove all the cabinets to do anything.

That being said, is there anything you want to change while you have them out? Now would be the time to run new electrical or plumbing if you need it too.

Honey Balsamic BBQ Meatballs.

Add two DDs to our head count for the rally. Neither want to walk. Maybe someone can convince them to fish?

Re: costumes. Hmm. Disney huh? There's a lot that that covers. What Disney are we talking about? Mickey and Minnie and that bunch? Princes and Princesses? Star Wars? Avengers? There's a wide range. I know I have a Superman T. Also have a Queen of Hearts skirt and crown. And the start of a Minnie Mouse dress and ears.

New and Pre-Purchase / Re: What to do with the PopUp when not in use?

Cover the tires while it is stored outside, in all seasons. UV rays eat away at them. They will last longer if covered. Same goes for the canvas and the vinyl windows. I kept mine closed because I would worry about it while I was at work for several days in a row if it was open and the weather sucked.

Once you have it restocked with staples and clean linens from your previous trip, close it up. Then you can be ready to throw food and clothes in it, hitch up and go camping!

There is an arcade, a movie room, hand dipped ice cream, and a lovely creek to play in too! You need a PA state fishing license to fish in the creek.

RapidFix worked. $21.19. Better than $130 for a new shroud. And it's fixed and back on. Oh, and the powder is available in white/clear.

I can't find Q-Bond locally. What about RapidFix? It has a similar liquid/powder system. It is available locally (auto parts store).

Appliances / Crack in AC Shroud: self-inflicted :(
« on: March 08, 2017, 08:39:37 PM »
While cleaning to caulk the center seam on my PUP's roof, I leaned against the AC shroud front corner. Mistake! It cracked. Center point with three cracks from it, luckily no big holes. UGH!!  :banghead:

I've drilled the ends of the cracks. Now to find a good product to fix it. Yes, it needs fixed it's on a front corner. I've already removed it and cleaned it with Simple Green and hosed it off. I found a YouTube on Q-bond adhesive. It comes with a powder to add as well.

Now to find it.
