Playing Cards
« on: September 15, 2015, 04:57:36 PM »
Does anyone play cards while camping?  What games?

We enjoy playing a game called 'Hand and Foot'.

We always have carried a deck of cards and play poker, crazy 8s, war, double solitaire, and probably others I've forgotten! I just bought "Deer in the Headlights" a few weeks ago but haven't played that yet. We also carry onboard Scattergories, Rummy Tiles, and a couple others that involve cards and chips. I bought the Mexican Train game but liked that so much that I did not want it kept in the camper but home where we could use it more often.

As a kid I learned how to play Kings Corners while camping and I have started teaching the girls how to play.

Best Regards,
Norm

My 2 cents, but probably worth one.

Haven't played Hand and Foot in a while. Used to play Nerts (kinda like Dutch Blitz or Blitz). Have Uno in the camper all the time. There is a version called "cut-throat" Uno. You might end up drawing 20!

I always thought my aunt made that game up. We played Hand and foot every night before she passed for around 10 yrs. Haven't played it in almost 20 yrs. :D
