convenience outlet MOD
« on: April 15, 2015, 11:01:16 PM »
The one end of our camper doesn't have a outlet anywhere and it's the bed that we sleep in.

I added a outlet with 2 USB plugs to the countertop between the stove and the bunkend.  Will be great for cell phone and laptop chargers.

I placed it in the front of the countertop so we can still use the space behind it for storage without covering it up.
I also have a cover for it if we use the stove but we normally do all our cooking outside.

Very useful, especially with the USB ports!

First outlet worked well so I added a second one to get the coffee pot cord out of the walkway of the kids and dogs.  Much cleaner look.

Nice work....I'm going to do something like that on my jayco.   It has outlets at both beds but  no USB or 12 volt.   10 year old Jayco Jay Series 1206.   Last year spent a fortune in upgrading beds, pugz, and bathroom.   This year 12 volt everywhere!
