Is the big Gettysburg Civil War reenactment next year some time also? The DW and I would love to go see that. If you have any info on that it would be greatly appreciated!!!

The reenactment is always the weekend after the first of July, when the war happened. Next year is the 149th anniversary

We have just about finalized the Gettysburg rally for April. We may have a band scheduled for Saturday evening after the pot luck dinner.

Depending on the turn out, we are also considering a beer fest. Bring a 6 pack of your favorite beer to share with others. Try a few other's local breweries or micro brew favorites. :cheers:

JoeCamper, is April 20th weekend 2012 the finalized dates? You posted earlier that this rally will most likely be in May.

All the detailed are worked out and group sites are blocked for the April Spring Rally.

Friends, music and BEER tasting!!!! You just created the trifecta 😀 Wish it was the same week as spring break but Steve and I have no problem pulling the kids out of school for camping!!!! We'll let you know when we get it all figured out and will more than likely go Thursday to Sunday.

We usually stick to state parks, but we just traded our Flagstaff on a Fleetwood Niagara highwall and got a certificate for 30 nights of free camping. One of the resorts is the Gettysburg Campground, so we might take advantage of it and join in.

Co-worker's hubby works at Troegs. Will bring whatever he recommends. (and sells to us at cost)

This is a great time to start the camping season in the north east.

JEH412 - hope that you can make this rally. Free camping, can't beat that. 🙂

Victory Brewery is about 3 blocks from my office and a customer of ours so I'll be bringing whatever is their seasonal at the time.

We should be making our reservation in the next couple weeks! ;D We'll probably bring a home brew to share since we have time to make it between now and then. We will probably go Thursday to Sunday but maybe Wednesday depending on how much school we want the kids to miss.
Can't wait to get down there we have been wanting to meet up with all you PAers for a couple years now! We'll update when we have a site. And if anyone is oppossed to camping next to a family with 4 kids and a dog (very sweet quiet doggie :dog:) let me know now and we'll avoid being your neighbors 😉 Although we give anyone the right to reprimand them as they see fit!
