lol, Great Phil, now nobody is going to book that site  😉 (but really... that's going to be the luckiest site in the campground)

<--- hey, why does it say "going in the woods" under my name?  A girl does that one time and gets labeled that for life....  just kidding. Sorry Moderator, off topic, I just couldn't resist.

Phew.....first weekend of helping Joe out with this and 3 reservations book.  Talk about crash course in how to update a board.

Welcome Vik-king to your first State Park Rally and Spring Opener  There are 3 "camping cottages" in the campground that are right near loop C.  If your friends want to come join us they are welcome.  The cottages are 1 bedroom with I believe 1 bunk and 1 double, electric, heat, and a small table.  All for $45 per night!!

Welcome Mariska Hargity to your second Spring Opener  Will your Brother and Sister be joining us again this year?

Welcome Camping Phil and Chef Pete.....how many Spring Openers is this for you???

Hmmm, what to do, what to do !  I am torn between skiing and camping!  I thinkI'll make reserv.and thensee what weather is to do, if stays good and cold, we will probably ski.  Last year was a no brainer, it was so warm, the ski resorts were already closed.  Gonna need to confer with DH first.

Correction... site C08 is the Terry Manor. Two (*ahem*) adults and 3 adorable children.

We've had that site the past 2 years.  Easy to get into and a water faucet right across the street.  As a matter of fact, the drawing I did for our family sign was from a picture at that site.

We're in!

Site: C38
Attending: 2 adults, 2 boys (9,7)
Food: TBD

Joe:  That was the last pet site.  According to ReserveWorld, #17 is booked by someone, #30 isn't electric and #46 isn't pet.

Ah, another season opener on my birthday. Going will be my gift to myself!

Had that happen a few years ago.  Spent my 40th and 41st birthdays at French Creek.  42nd was the Monday afterwards.  I was happy that 40 passed quietly and without any fanfare, just a pleasant camping trip.  This past rally and and next year, the park seems to be opening the week prior.

I've spoken to the ranger and we have a pet waiver for all of the C loop for this weekend.

ChefPete's birthday is March 20 (1st day of Spring), so we will have a bunch of birthdays on that Rally.

I'm not sure if I did something right at the Thanksgiving Rally this past weekend but the Spring Opener has gone viral.
There are 2 non-ADA electric sites left on loop C - 44 and 45.
A few ADA sites can then be booked by calling the reservation center 800 number.

I'm meeting with the ranger this week to discuss opening loop B and making it pet friendly.  No promises.
