Additional information about this rally:
Rally History: This is the 7th year we've had a Thanksgiving Rally with four of the years were at this campground, it's a great place.

Campground: This campground only has 55 sites and the electric sites sell out every year. The camp sites 148 thur 155 are in a open wagon wheel layout with the center site (149) as our gathering site. There is little privacy at these sites but a great time socializing and the kids playing.

Weather: The weather has been pretty consistent over the years with comfortable cooler fall weather during the day and cold nights around a large group campfire.

Gathering Dinner: Our group dinner is Saturday evening and with Marc and many others help, I cook 3 or more turkeys and everyone brings Thanksgiving sides or desserts for a group sit-down meal together. Followed by a large campfire, music and memorable stories.

Area Information: Caledonia is in the northernmost section of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail passes through the park. All sites allow pets and many have electric.

I was just talking to DW about this last night. She probably will not come since we will be traveling every other weekend during the fall.

This is one of our favorite trips every year. We'll definitely be there, probably book this weekend.

we have this problem every year. the campground doesn't default to hosack campground, you need to pick it from the drop down menu.

I had issues last trip and again today when booking online, something happened, it said my transaction was not complete until I hit a button, and the button disappeared. Then it locked up the site for 30 minutes. I tried again and then it worked.
