Joe, two questions? First, since we didn't book enough sites, how much is the daily fee going to be? And since there are only going to be four sites booked, are they going to keep us together?

Tom,
When we were under 10 sites, they were still going to honor the price but we've had several more cancellations since.  I'll talk to them again.  The four of us will be camping together.

The campers packed and hitched to the TV. Should be on the road by 7.
If all goes well We'll be in Williamsburg around 4.

Looks like it's just TWO of us who made it,  A truly sad showing for the Canvas Campers! We just talked to the park owners and were informed that "most" of the canvas campers who made reservations were "NO SHOWS" , they never called to cancel!  Remember folks, if you need to cancel, CALL! When you don't you give the group a bad name, and cost yourself a nights stay!

I know my mom called and canceled our reservations. I was so excited for this trip unfortunately we couldn't do it  :'(

The trip was great! Good food, great company and clear (with a few passing showers) weather.  American Heritage is a nice campground, As it's a little over two hours from home (traffic permitting) we'll be going back.  On a side note I don't think we could have gotten away with a "Joe Camper" campfire!
