There are clubs with these type motorhomes. My parents said that if they ever moved up from the truck camper they had wanted one of these.

HERE is a vintage video promo of the GMC motorhome from the late 70's early 80's. I follow this guy, Wanderlust Estate, on youtube who travels around living first in his van and now moved into one of these GMC motorhomes with his Girlfriend. If I were younger and single I would entertain the thought of living out of a campervan or Class C RV or something. There are quite a few who do that and are on Youtube. I found this video interesting. Can you imagine driving an RV in this manner?

Actually, if you ever need big sheets of clean, flat cardboard, Sam's and Costco (probably BJs as well) will allow you to just take them out the door. I used to be the "prop lady" for my old church's Vacation Bible School and used many of the cardboards for backdrops and "buildings." If you ever need odd pieces of styrofoam (which we did for a "Rome" theme), go to your local furniture store's shipping/receving dept. and ask if they have any on hand or could save some for you with a specified date to return to them.

I've got the cotton balls in my stash already! See you soon.

Judy, how are you able to think of all these things we need. You just amaze me. I didn't even think about a score board. I got my little craft bag packed tonight with most of the supplies (minus the cotton balls). Destiny and I are gonna make our prototype this weekend.

I will bring a bag of white cotton balls, Nancy.

I also picked up two white bendable "cardboard" sheets from Sam's Club today. They are used as dividers between stacks of boxed product - about double the size of a poster board but not quite as stiff. We may need one for a game (cornhole?) scoreboard and you are welcome to the other if you can use it for crafts or whatever!

Wizfisher's wife Barbara made some cool Halloween crafts last time we were at the "other" fall rally in Florida last year. One of them was Spooky Trees. Love kids' crafts. They get so into it!

Hahaha.... we had a bit of left over supplies from last year... and I'm not one to throw perfectly good [s]trash[/s], :whistle:... er, I mean craft materials away. So anyway, I planned on offering the firestarters also, aside from the other craft I've got planned. And it involves cotton balls!

Jarhead, missnanc did that craft with the kids last spring and she has some other kids' crafts ideas from what I've heard. I've been saving TP tubes and lint as well and will bring that just in case the kids need to do some again.

That is a great idea and a great video Lone Lock. We also use cotton balls with about half a teaspoon of petroleum jelly worked into them. That will burn for about 5-10 minutes.
Judy, we have been saving tubes and lint since spring rally. I hope you do your craft for the kids again. They loved it.

Those tp tube ones are great. I have found that a squirt of baby oil into the tube before lighting is also very helpful.

The TP tubes filled with dryer lint and scraps of paper were the magic formula for the kids' craft at our spring Southeastern Rally thanks to missnanc!
