Over the past 10 years, we've played games at many group rallies before the potluck dinner. They seem to be a big success even though I have done any over the past 3-4 years. Here is 1 of the 21 questions from the 2018 Spring Opener. The first line of 80s songs

Would love to revisit the Finger Lake wineries. We haven't been up there in quite a few yrs. However, that's my annual wknd down the shore with high school friends, so I won't be making this camping trip.

And take lots of money and credit cards. The gift shops (yes plural), are great, but can be very expensive.

The Corning Glass museum and shop is wonderful, but if you go give yourself a lot of time, it takes a while to go through it all.

Another thing to do if it is an off weekend for the race track is to do the "Thunder Road Tour" you drive your vehicle on the track behind a pace car and complete about 3 or 4 laps, with a stop at the start/finish line for photos ...

At this point in time, sadly have to say that we are out... 🙁 Got the results of the first round of vacation bidding ... Not too good ... Even with 17 years the best I could get was two weeks at the end of August beginning of September ... >:( Unlike some, I at least got summer ....

Hmm. Interested. Would get a visit in with relatives while we are there.

Corning Glass has two public areas. The Museum and the Studio. The Studio is where you get to make stuff with glass for a fee, of course. Best to make reservations for a session. Easy to do. Some items require a cure time of 1-3 days. Sometimes there are master glass students there making neat stuff, too. You can sit and watch them work. Lots of art galleries in Corning as well. Also the Rockwell Museum of Western Art.

We have only stayed at Watkins Glen State Park. It's nice, if you get right on it, you can get site reserved together. Some of the sites are not for the bigger rigs due to trees in the way of turning to get into your spot. Electric loop is very shaded. Pool is always cold. If you start the waterfall trail from the pool parking lot, you can walk down to the bottom at the visitor's center. We park one car at the pool and one at the visitor's center so we don't have to fight gravity.
