The Raccoon DOG was another success, had 6 campsites reserved, and 42 people in attendance to show there black pot talents, the weather was picture perfect, the good was in bounty, and the fellowship even better! So many pots on the table, I even lost count. Talks are in the works on a repeat. Fall DOG, dates are still TBD soon.

The three rivers dutch ovens chapter hosted a demo at the local Gander Mountain. Store today in West Mifflin, Pa. The weather was a bit on the cool windy side. But somehow manageable, we had some people stop bye, check us out and sample some good food, We handed out some info on our upcomming April. DOG. And shared some fellowship among members!!! Gander MountIn. Was pleased to have us, and welcomed us , plus gave us a open invite to return anytime we like! All In All. ,,,, a great day!!!!

Planning stages are now well under way for the 2nd annual Three Rivers Dutch ovens DOG. Saturday April 23rd 2016. At Raccoon Creek State Park ,Hookstown PA. Camping available , keep the date open on your calenders!

Our first meet and greet DOG was a great success, even after waking up with snow on the ground, the sun came out by noon, and had a great turnout , we had 21 pots on the table! Next event is july 25th at New Sewickly twp comminity days, then planning to attend the East Coast DOG in BIrd in hand PA , 2nd week of October. We are holding our first semi/formal cookout april 25 at raccoon creek state park in western PA. A meet/greet basically and charging $5 per person to the public for those wanting to stop by for a good meal
