I run the CanvasCampers FaceBook Page (have you liked it yet??) and have watched everyone put their TBT pics on FB and other places and had an idea :goodstuff:

[move]TBT Camping Pictures [/move]

Thats right. Throw Back Thursday campng pics. If you have a picture of yourself or a camper from back in the day lets see them. I'll post a few on the FB page on Thursdays.

I know Joe has an awesome one of his daughter on the door step when he first got his camper and she was what...6?.. and one recently and you can see how she has grown. I think I have one of myself as a kid camping with the Boy Scouts in a tent (gotta find it).

Dig through those old pictures and lets see what you got.....any mullets? High hair and long nails? Vintage 70's shorts and socks?

Because my DSLR is an older one and lenses are expensive. I have my camera set on Manual all of the time.

Shooting an Olympus E330, which with an adapter, can take film SLR lenses and hubby has several of those from his OM1.

I will switch to AP when I'm in the low light and to Shutter when I'm outside and wanting to capture the kids at play. Although I'm learning to use the FStops a little better now. I still have issues getting the right exposures.

I'm a CG junkie. It is always best to "get it right the first time", but if I can't, which I don't, then run it thru software. Sometimes I get lucky and the SOOC is really good.

Also, it does depend on the file type your saving in camera. Jpeg is developed in camera and other then the purple/green fringes that most cameras have (some more then others) you can go with straight out of the camera. RAW files must be developed.

I shoot with an Oly E330 using 35mm SLR lenses. So, I shoot everything in manual mode and save as RAW, then thru software for development and sharpening.

Well, I manipulate on my computer. I use picasa. Something basic for me. Took a class at a local college when I my canon rebel, most of what was taught was how to transfer pictures from camera to computer. I (and a few others) was a bit bummed out on that, since we knew how, but wanted to learn our cameras and how to take better pictures. So after 5 years, I still don't know much about my camera settings 🙁

They'd be even better if the moose, bighorn sheep, et al would stay in place long enough to focus well!

Aperture priority could be your friend, the higher the F-stop the greater the depth of field
