We stopped at a CG last evening to visit a friend before he was heading home today and the CG charged us $12 to visit.  Than to top it off, it was 8:20 and they told us we had to leave by 9pm.  Wasn't the $50+ per night they already charged him enough?

Very nice place but I'm not sure I'd ever camp there just because of this experience.  If it's all about the money, I'll go somewhere else.

I understand a guest charge when someone visits ALL DAY and uses the pool, hay ride, other campground stuff but to stop by for an hour or two is not cool.

So, did you talk with a manager about hosting a rally :tickedoff:

We stayed at Frontier Town outside of Ocean City MD, and my parents stopped by. They also have a guest charge because of the waterpark, mini golf, and other attractions, but there is no charge if you stay under an hour.
