Blair County PA - Morrison's Cove Memorial Park

I don't think this is a County park, but Morrison's Cove Memorial Park falls into the same caliber of a county park, IMHO. It is a non profit corporation that runs it. Camping is $15 per night and they have some electric and water hook ups. It sounds like they have a lot going on there as well. Swimming, Bowling, Roller Skating.

I found it by looking for campgrounds near my in-laws. I will talk the DW and see if we can stay here next time we go visit. Has anyone stayed here before?

Sounded interesting until I read the first paragraph.

We do not provide fire pits but you are permitted to use your won propane or charcoal grill. No open burning

No real campfire? I just can't do it. That's like 60% of the camp fun right there. The pool does look like fun for little ones though.

I was a little ticked about the campfire thing as well.....but unless it is cold out, I don't build a fire. I would miss it, but it wouldn't stop me. Plus I'd probably be visiting the in-laws :banghead: if I camped here.
