Planning a trip here in a couple of months..Anyone recommend a pet friendly CG with full hook ups on a creek, river, lake etc?

Taps RV Park and Lake Powhatan Recreational Area are two great options that we've stayed. One os south and the other east of Ashville.

The NFS C/G Lake Powhatan is seasonal and does not open until April 1st. But just down the road a little ways (near Brevard) is the Davidson River C/G - great family national forest C/G - and it's open all year. Also, no doubt that during that time of year you can rent a host site with electrical hook-up.
