Here is a review i did on the Fall Creek Falls, TN on another site.  Thought you guys might enjoy it.  Will have another one on here soon too.

Well, it's here and gone to quick!  Me and the DW and kids took the Rockwood out on its maiden voyage this weekend.  We practiced for several days before heading out.  Put it up, take it down, put it up take it down. [LOL]

We got to Fall Creek Falls friday afternoon and drove around picking out our site.  We realized once we got there that this was the last weekend of the 2 week deer hunt there.  Me being a hunter, i didn't mind to much.  We found a nice cozy spot in section E with only about 4 or 5 other campers there.  Dropped of the camper and went and signed in (Nov.-March is first come first serve there).

Fixing to head out of town.

It was a little windy the day we set up so i just used the quick up and didn't really get to involved making camp just to have it blown away.  [LOL]  I will work on my tie downs latter so that i wont have to worry about it.

Had to dig out the cast iron and dust it off, the only way to cook while camping. Saturdays breakfast.
First night was realativly quiet.  Park rangers made several rounds through the evening checking on everyone and making sure things were ok.

Few Pictures of the falls, bridges and scenery.  The park was absolutely gorgous and clean.

Saturday night i just had to try one of the recipes i saw posted on here.  It turned out absolutely GREAT!  Chicken pot pie in a
dutch oven.

The campsites were very spacious.  Plenty of room to stretch out and  warm up by the campfire.

The kids were whooped and gave us no problems on the way home.  [LOL]

If you ever get a chance to head to FCF's Defiantly do.  It's an experience that you wont forget.  After i post this i'm going to see if i can figure out how to link the whole album so that you can click the camera icon under my Icon.  Once i do, feel free to  check out the album.

I just sent papachaz a PM asking if he had ever been here. I have been looking at it online. It looks like a great park. I believe it will go on our "near futur must camp list".  :baseballhat:

Any idea when you were wanting to go?  we were hoping to go by the end of the year.  Last visit was after the leafs had fallen and it was getting colder and we loved it!  Maybe if ya want company we'll be able to head there too.

Love the pictures.  With DS being only 3 we have been keeping it close to home.  I can't wait until we can do some long distance trips.  Pics and reviews like this make me want to go to TN

Lone,  Our DD is 4 1/2 months now and we travel anywhere. few more stops along the way for feeding and diapers but she absolutely LOVES camping.  She even went to our recent rally with us.

yeah but my wife only tolerates camping at this time.  It is better to be close to home....she doesn't understand traveling far away to relax.  Hopefully she learns to like it more.  Right now it is best to double team Nathan.  Once he is potty trained I will take him out solo if DW doesn't want to go....and then I can travel farther.

My folks are in Crossville Tenn. Went out to the Falls a couple years back, just a day trip. What a beautiful park. My boys & I walked down to the bottom & under the falls. Had a great time. Really wished we were camping there.
Mtnkube, The Brairsville area is amazing!!! Up there at BSA camp Woodruff a couple a years ago. Has to be one of the best BSA camps in America! We'll make the trip back up there someday.
