Posting for a friend who's a retired Air Force sheet metal worker who lives in Bonaire, GA. If anyone is interested in calling him and having a sign made, PM me and I'll get you his info. The tongue stand actually hooks up to the battery box and lights up. Pretty cool stuff that he does.

finally got around to creating an account here. i'm the retired USAF guy that makes these signs, but I will have to say I wasn't a sheet metal worker for my 22 years in the air force. I was air traffic control radar maintenance. my hobby has mostly been seeing how much I can break on my jeep, and I can say i'm pretty good at that. sad part of that is being military all my career I have been to broke to by lift kits, and different parts off the shelf. so instead of buying parts I bought tools. over the years I bought a ton of tools and one of the last ones I bought before retirement was a CNC plasma machine. which allows me to cut and build these signs. I typical over build pretty much everything I build, and these are no different. the sign part is 16 ga steel, and the support rod is half inch thick. there is a stomp fork on the bottom to make them easier to push into the ground. the sign is welded to the rod and the names and camper part are bolted together. if your interested in one feel free to contact me at michael213@cox.net
RadarTom, nice hobby, great product! Welcome to CanvasCampers from us up in the NW area of GA. If you are looking for a nice rally of Southeastern folks (GA, AL, TN, SC, etc.), we'd love to have you attend our Southeast Fall Rally at McKinney Campground on Lake Allatoona. It's a COE and really works well for all ages. Check us out at the above tab on Group Rallies an make your reservation soon. Most of us are located on sites #118-#137. There are other sites but it's a little drive to the "Rally Central" loop. Seven sites are still available that are in the immediate loop: #118, 119, 127, 134, 135, 136, 137.

Sounds like a blast, but we are currently saving up for an extended trip down to destin in July.
Third picture down is our camper, the avenger.
A little info on the bottom picture of the jack stand, sadly I have only been able to use it one time, but I did notice that it stabilized the camper a ton using it. With the tounge jack only down an inch or two versus a foot it diffenatly helps with stability. Reason I have only got to use it once has been because I built it a tad to tall, so if you TV and trailer aren't level on the site, i was able to slide it under the jack. :(, simple fix for the next one I build.other then a slight measurement issue, it's an awesome effect, and it helps keep you from bashing your shines in the middle of the night when your walking around the camper, looking for some privacy. 8)
