If you have to get the best and longest life from your camper battery, you want to disconnect it and bring it inside for the winter.  Store it in a dry safe place.

Here is a great simple video to connect your battery in the spring and check your fuses.  I’m not mentioning any names but we have a few people who connect these wrong each year and blow a fuse or two.

I always zip tie the anything on the positive post together with a red tie and anything on the negative post with a black one. Helps after a couple of months.
