If you have to get the best and longest life from your camper battery, you want to disconnect it and bring it inside for the winter.  Store it in a dry safe place.

Here is a great simple video to connect your battery in the spring and check your fuses.  I'm not mentioning any names but we have a few people who connect these wrong each year and blow a fuse or two.
