Installing a new wiring harness

old broken and rusted harness. eliminated the 4 pin and replaced the 7 pin.

had to grind down the bolts, drill new holes and paint

verified everything with a test light and then connected to the camper for a final check.

I just rewired the wire harness on my trailer before last weekends trip.  My lights still weren't working 100% but at least I had something flashing back there.  I need to spend time (not the Thursday before a trip) and rewire the whole trailer light system rather than try to find the problem.

man, i like how that box is welded to the hitch. when I wired my 7 pin on my Dodge, I just screwed the connector to the bottom of the bumper with some tech screws. it works, but i'd sure like to have it boxed in like that
