I've heard rumors that Coleman and other manufacturers have years that the inverter doesn't stop charging the battery after it is full so if you leave your camper pulled in, it will ruin your battery and burn it out.  Is this true?  Is there way around it?  How do I know if I have one of them?  Yes, I'm panicking right now.  :-

Almost all Colemans/Fleetwoods made after 2000 use WFCO Converters. WFCO units are all 3 stage chargers that go into float mode when there is no load and the battery is charged.

When Phil sayd AFTER 2000, he means it. My camper is a 2000 Coleman and the inverter burned out the battery since I left the camper plugged in while storing it.  :'(
