Occasionally I'll click on an ad when on sites like this because I assume the advertisers then have to pay the site host. It's just one way for me to support the efforts of the site.
This morning I clicked on the ad for the HOJO motor. Well, as I suspected, it sounds way to good to be true. It did get my curiosity up though because if it was true it would be ideal for camping. So here goes, has any real person out there actually tried it? I'm assuming it's a scam but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
I'm feeling a little gullible now so I'll end with that 😛
Yeah, it's pretty much a scam. If you want info on Howard Johnson's motors, there's a lot that's available for free and there are some energy forums where you can discuss the ideas, plans, etc. You'll most likely get a whole lot more information from those free sources than you'd ever get from the book being sold in the ad. The patents trumpeted in the ad, if you read them, don't mention free energy. They are for different magnet placement in motors and motor design.
From my understanding of Johnson's motor, no one has been able to completely replicate his work, and it would take a long time and a lot of money to build even a small motor based on his designs ... if the average DIYer could even do it.
You can look at it this way: If such a thing were possible you'd be hearing about from many sources (network news, major news magazines, major universitys) other than a Google ad placement.
