I had a problem where the plastic tabs broke the electrical hatch door. On my last trip to the campground, I looked in my rear view mirror to see the electrical cord was vibrating out of the hatch. I had to pull over and tape the door close. I found the Bargman Electrical hatch door on Ebay. Today I installed it with a little cutting on the wall panel but well worth it!

Hatch door open. I have plenty of room now to add a 12 volt recpticle for my new winegard automatic satellite to plug into, then I can close door and lock to deter theft.

CampNnuts, give it a few years and someone will invent a electric door to open things on a camper. 😉
Fw Arcadia, as you witnessed, it is no problem to install. I see where camper manufacturer cuts corners on cost to build. As you witnessed, the cheap stuff does not hold up! I am one who believes to spend a little more to the job right the first time and make happier customers! Even if the customer is me. 😀
