I was thinking of building a splitter for a 30 amp service. A 30 Amp RV plug to a junction box with a 30 Amp RV outlet and a 15 Amp household outlet. I understand that I obviously can't run both lines at capacity and would need to keep the total under 30 Amp. (No AC; don't have a need to run any significant loads.) This setup would give me a 30 Amp outlet for the popup and also an extra 15 Amp household outlet at the pole.
Has anyone seen anything like this? Anyone ever have a need for something like this?

Almost all elec. poles in campgrounds (that I can think of) have both a 30 amp outlet and an additional 15 amp outlet next to it.
I'm assuming your pup has a 30 amp plug already and you want an additional place to plug in an extension cord in case there isn't one when you get to your spot.
I'm also assuming there is a reason there isn't something like this already being made. Lol
We sometimes bypass the need for addtl. 30 amp inside service by running whatever might need to pull more electric (the elec. heater and ??) on an extension cord plugged directly to the outside pole/electric box. We just lift up the corner of the closure flap (or in PUPS, through the zipper or an opening in the canvas and run the extension out the opening before tightening or closing around the cord.
