If you'd like to place a link in a post, there are two different options.
1) The basic link to a website can be added by adding [nobbc][url] and [/url][/nobbc] around the website address. You can do this by manually typing it or clicking on the 'insert hyperlink' button [Image Can Not Be Found] on the menu of a new post.
example:
[nobbc][url][/nobbc][nobbc]http://canvascampers.com/index.php?page=campsigns[/nobbc][nobbc][/url][/nobbc]
it displays in your post as...
https://canvascampers.com/index.php?page=campsigns
2) It is very helpful to shorten a long website address so that the entire URL is not displayed in your post. This can be done by inserting a [nobbc][url= before the website address and a ] after the address followed the wording you want displayed and finished up with [nobbc][/url][/nobbc]
example:
[nobbc][url=[/nobbc][nobbc]http://canvascampers.com/index.php?page=campsigns[/nobbc][nobbc]][/nobbc][nobbc]Great Camp Signs[/nobbc][nobbc][/url][/nobbc]
it displays in your post as...
Great Camp Signs

BUT I could make it look a lot cleaner by doing this:
[nobbc][url=http://canvascampers.com/reviews/]Product Reviews[/url][/nobbc]
and here is how it would display:
I hope this makes sense and is helpful. Other useful forum tips can be found at https://canvascampers.com/index.php?board=26.0
