We have been planning group rallies mostly every month from March through November for 9 years, 5 of those years here on CanvasCampers.

These have continued to grow with some near or over 100 people attending and have been very successful mostly do to the support and involvement of the members.  We are always looking for help with updating attendance, answering questions and planning activities for the adults or children.

Many of our members and their families have been very active ... but we are continuously searching and in need of help.

Everyone is always welcome to attend and participate in the mid-atlantic rallies.  Starting the first of the year 2016, there will be a change:

1) Every new member is welcome to attend the first 3 mid-atlantic group rallies at no attendance cost.  Come see what all the hype is about and you will most likely be hooked.

2) We will continue to have 2 coordinators for each rally, (not from the same household).  They will answer questions and keep the thread up-to-date.

3) We might have 1 or 2 activity coordinators for rallies.  They can plan scavengers hunts, tours and weekend activities.

What happens after we try it out: After the 3rd rally, attendees can either help with a group rally or pay a $10 fee per site, per rally, they attend going forward.  If you only attend 1 rally a year and your schedule doesn't allow you to help, it's an easy $10.  If you attend 4 per year and your schedule doesn't permit you to help, it's only $40.

How's it going to work: It is only with the support of the members that we can continue to offer the experience and memorable rallies.  If you assist in planning a rally, the fee with be waived for 1 year from the month of the rally.  Help, plan the 2106 September group rally and you are covered through all of 2016 and up to September 01, 2017.  What a deal. 🙂

Where will the money be used: The attendance fees will not be used for the website but at the website discretion for door prizes, activity supplies or to help with the cost of the coordinators campsites.  This does not include the donations for the gathering site and firewood at the winter rallies in March and November where it's cold and a very large group.
