Instead of trying to remember how many nights we camped at the end of the year, I figured we could keep a thread running where we can keep updating as we camp.

We have gone on 4 trips already totaling 12 nights.

4 trips
12 nights camped.

We are going again next week so I will update (with a new post) when we get back.

Just out for 1st time 2015:

1 trip, 4 nights (Gold Head Branch SP, FL)

Wizfisher's camping season is at the end of peak with that nice Florida weather for the "snowbird" season! Matt & Barbara, hope to see you up our way for a break from the hot summer of Florida. Let us know.

If we head that way I'll let you know Judy.
We camp all year, just deal with the heat in summer.
Normally camp 50+ nights a year.

Does the backyard count?  We're picking up our PUP Saturday, but the only thing we'll have time for is bringing it home.  We'll probably only be able to christen it there...

I have never counted camp driveway as camping.
It's just sleeping in there, even if you do camping like things (fire, marshmallows, etc.)
We do fires, and cook on them more at home than when camping.

Part of going camping (to me) is picking a site, packing, traveling to the campground, setting up the site, hiking, etc.
It's an enjoyable process.

2, but I'm more for quality than quantity.

And there was something about this crew

We just got back from Myakka River State Park.
Nice park, plenty of shade in the sites which is a plus here in Florida.

Although we brought the kayaks, the kids were scared of all the gators in the water so we never used them.

While in the area we headed to Venice Beach where we looked for (and found) sharks teeth. I wish it was closer as that was a load of fun.

3 nights puts us at.....
18 total for the year.

Overnight (no hook-ups) in Elk Neck State Park in North, East MD.  Great place, all RV site are clean and level.  Beautiful view of the Elk river from the Elk loop this time of year.

We just went to Wekiwa Springs State Park in North Orlando.
Nice park, saw plant of deer and a few turkey.
The springs are beautiful but the water is too cold for our Florida blood. Lol. I think the water is 72 degrees.

This trip was just me and the two little kids (8 and 4) as my wife and 15 year old were sick.

3 more nights.
