Just checking out Craigslist and I see an ad for a 1987 ford Class C with a 460 motor that they are willing to trade for a vehicle or popup. I have both.....wonder if I can get it for close to an even trade. But he says the brakes pulse a little when hot. Sounds like new rotors and drums are needed. How much does a full brake job cost on a F350 with Duallies? I have to imagine it is a bit more than my Tacoma due to the size of the drums and rotors.
Also, what kind of MPG does a 460 motor get?
Don't worry, there is still a canvas awning and I promise I will sit outside when at the campground :baseballhat:

you can check the parts prices at one of the chain auto parts stores websites, IE: autozone.com, advanceauto.com, etc.....are you able to do the replacing yourself? I'm no brake man, but I'd want someone who knows what they're doing to take care of it. there are so many things that can be or go wrong with brakes, why risk your lives?
good luck, keep us posted on what you decide to do!
No Go 🙁 They guy will take my pup as trade but not my van. I was hoping for an even trade. My Van and pup for the RV. Maybe a few dollars, but not much. It sounded like the rotors were warped. When I talked to the guy he is or was a mechanic and he is moving. He said he just hasn't messed with the brakes yet and he can't take the RV to the new place.
With it being over an hour away and not having the layout we'd really like we're going to pass. We'd really like 1 normal bed in addition to the bed over the cab. I'll keep looking for the next one.
