Well I just cancelled our resi's for this weekend :'(.  Weather is supposed to turn cold again, down to 20 at night.  My wife is a freeze baby so we'll have to try it again in a couple of weeks.

It's been nice the last few days, what the heck.  We were supposed to go to Lock 30 Woodlands in Lisbon, Oh.  Rated one of the top 75 campgrounds in the USA.  I was really looking forward to checking this place out and doing Geocaching with our new GPS.

Oh well.

Yeah it was a bummer.  We were going to get a away without the kids for the first time in years and it's been so many years that I can't even remember when the last time was.  I'm hoping to get out April 15th.

Bigdawg...No I haven't been there yet.  It's about 20 minutes south of me and I never heard of it until last year.  But, people I have talked to said it is a very nice place.  It's near Beaver Creek SP which is a great state park.  The state park does not have electric sites so this would be a good place to go if you need electric.  The SP has some interesting history and some hauntings.

Thanks, Eagle.  A place that we enjoy going to is Austin Lake Campground near Toronto, OH.  We have gone there every Memorial Weekend for the past 5 years.  It is a very nice Campground.  And the owner is a very nice guy.  Here is the link if you would like to check it out http://www.austinlakepark.com/
