its about parking at someones house as a lay-over and not costing anything!
any of you folks do this? or know anything about this? i would like to try this if knowing some of the boards most popular writers have any experience at this. we'd like to save money and maybe strech our driving distance and be close to the museums in the cities besides just camping in the forrests  which we do mostly and spend travel nites at truck stops or rest-areas. thanks. dave

No, we have never done this (always stayed in parking lots on travel nights) or even heard of it until Labor Day wknd. While camping at a PA state park, we met a couple traveling from FL. They offered their driveway, as well as their neighbors to us if ever down their way. The neighbor's house has an RV parking pad with water & electric! He said it's quite common in his area to offer overnight spots to RVers passing through, but didn't mention any online forums about it.
