I would love to do a tour of the National Parks and visit all the little things in between. When I have traveled the across the country in the past I never had the time to stop and visit all the stuff this country has to offer. I've been right past he front door of Wall Drug in South Dakota but not able to stop, the same for the fence post rock's in Kansas. There are many others as well. I could spend years traveling around all 50 states. I think I would trade the pop up in for a nice 5th wheel though.
I have 3 trips.. One is to tour around England and Scotland for a month or so, visit relatives and do all the trashy tourist type things.. The other is a bit more morbid in the since it involves touring around the cemeteries of Northern Europe and France looking for those "lost" relatives. It would also include a two week stop in Germany to tour around some of that Countries Castles and historic Cities. The third is to tour around both Canada and the States in a Trailer, stopping off to see all the wonders offered by both Countries, it would also include stopping at a few Nascar races as well.. I have them planned I'm just waiting on the Lottery Commission to draw the correct numbers so I win.. 8)
A grand European Tour that lasts for the summer. A leisurely trip to Florida with some time at Disney. A trip to the Grand Canyon with a horseback trip down to the ranch in the canyon. Alaska. Skiing in the Rockies and the Alps. Swimming in Hawaii. A trip to space, maybe to the moon. Just to name a few.
As a Boy Scout I did a High Adventure camp sailing in the Florida Keys. That was THE most awesome trip I have ever taken. 8 kids and 2 adults sailed on a 40 foot sailboat. I would buy a boat, hire a captain who knows a lot more about sailing than me and sail with my wife and son anywhere we want. Homeschool my son bringing him to various historical places around the world.
The key to sailing around the world would be having enough money to have a small Navy follow you around the oceans to keep Pirates away.
