What is your favorite time of the year to camp and why?

We enjoy September camping the most even though the kids are back in school.  Comfortable days and cool sleeping nights makes for Happy Campers.

Spring and fall; because the temps are more moderate.

Summer for us, as my dd and dw (teacher) are both done school.  We can get away a lot earlier, and the water temps are better for swimming.

Spring and fall here as well.  I generally have to much going on during the summer with work and family stuff

x2 on summer ...      As ds2 is done school..  and the wife takes 2 weeks in the summer off anyways..  we do try to do one trip in October for a few days...  we also use this last trip of the season to winterize the trailer before closing it up...

My favorite time is in the spring and fall when it is cool out.  If you can see your breath in the morning and warm up by the fire at night.....that is my favorite time/weather to camp in.

I guess the fall is most enjoyable weather wise for sure and so many things going on.  I do also love summer as DGD is out of school and can go more often and we can take vacations.  We don't seem to have much of a spring any more, just go from cold to hot.  LOL

MINE WOULD HAVE TO BE IN FALL . NICE BEAUTIFUL DAYS AND REALLY COOL NIGHTS.  AND HAS TO BE AT A RALL WITH ALL THE GREAT PEOPLE  HAVE MEET

Fall hands down! We like the changing of leaves and the cooler temps.  Spring is a close second.

Definitely in the fall.  Second would be spring.  I like having all the windows open, and DH has to have the AC running if it gets too hot....so summer is out (unless we go without him, but what fun is that?) :'(

When camping in the hybrid it's Spring and Fall. Lower temps and less crowds. When tent camping I like the cold winter. It's easier to get warm in the winter than to cool off in the summer.  Nothing like waking up to a few inches of fresh fallen snow!

I definitely like camping in our AZ winters.  We camp within an hour drivetime  and that makes it so much easier when we have to work that day prior to hitching to the Westholt and going.  Summer is miserably hot to load the truck and then hitch the trailer and go.  Winter gets my vote! ::)
