Looking for some info for camping around the 750-800 mile mark from NJ to Fort Wilderness. We are leaving on saturday morning, but check in isn't until sunday at 2pm. Was looking for a good area to camp over night around the listed miles from jersey to florida. Any help would be good, not familiar with the area down there as far as camping would go. Would like water/elec min hook up camp sites
Try to make Brunswick, GA which is 792 miles for you.

When we go down in Oct/Nov we are hitting South of the Border Campground. We are leaving at 3:30 in the afternoon though. Oh and you can check in at Fort Wilderness anytime, your site may not be ready, but you can park in the overflow lot too it is and explore.
Best Regards,
Norm

Can not give any info about a place to stop, but Fort Wilderness is our favorite place to camp. You can check in early, I have been there a 8 AM and been let in. If site is ready will let you go to it, if not you park in overflow lot and they send you a text when it is ready. Any thing you want to know about Fort Wilderness or WDW can be found on Fort Fiends. net
I'm from the Williamstown area lol south of jersey city saves my a couple of miles lol. I want to atleast get into Georgia before we stop that way only have that state and Florida left the one acenorm said we are looking into now but appreciate all the help I can get for sure everyone's very helpful on here it's nice to have such a good forum not one where people bash other people!!
From New Jersey to Santee State Park in South Carolina is about 650 miles.
Santee is minutes from I-95 and right on a lake. From there to Fort Wilderness is about a 6 hour drive.
We live about 30 minutes southwest of Disney and have stopped at Santee on our way north as we keep our driving days between 6 and 8 hours when towing.
650 miles is a 10-11 hour drive, if not more depending on how fast you drive, traffic, and how many times you stop for gas, to eat, etc.

That would almost work out perfect since check in isnt untill 2 safely, maybe sooner and shortens the drive on the first day
