DW thinking I'm going to far with camp driveway because I have some extra wire and I'm running a circuit to an outdoor 4x4 post to plug the camper in.  I haven't run a water line........ yet.

She just doesn't understand.

Sure beats running an extension cord to keep the battery topped off!

Our camper is parked right behind the house, so it's a short run with a cord to keep it ready to go. A permanent hookup would be better than getting out the adapter, running a cord ...

I've been toying with the same idea, just that copper is so expensive right now and I have an extension cord. The nice thing about the RV plug is you'll be able to run the A/C, as if your wire is the correct size and you run a 30 amp circuit the amperage draw for the a/c will be there, where typically a residential outlet may only be 15 or 20 amps.

In this weather A/C is a nice option.
