I hate to rub it in b/c I know not everybody is living in SC....but we are having an early spring here.....I wore my sandals the other day and it wasn't even the end of February! I went to a bday party for my daughter's friend and it was held outside and I was hot in my shirt and light sweater! The trees are budding and the windows are open at my house!( Take that electric company!!  ;D)....You know what is coming next don't cha?.....I am getting the " when and where can we go camping" itch! Tomorrow is only March 1st! On the flip side, everybody keeps saying it is gonna be a scorcher this summer!( that was for you guys with snow still on the ground ;))

I hope that comment about it being a scorcher is only a joke.  We will be down at Hilton Head in August.  Last year when we got there the temp on the car said 104.  I thought I made a wrong right handed turn on the way down and ended up in Arizona.  Once I got out the car I knew I was in the right place, man was it humid.  But we had a great time and will be returning this year.  Oh, we stay in a condo not the pup, my sis in law has a time share.

I hope you get out soon.

It's above freezing for the next few days, the camper is open for some spring cleaning and a little maintenance.
My better half mentioned how nice it was today, almost camping weather.  8)  I think I have her brain washed.  ::)

Nope, that sounds about right for SC in August....we get for summer what you get for winter.....too much of something weatherwise....haha

Enjoy Hilton Head! Have you made it to Beaufort or Savannah yet? Both wonderful southern towns!( Hunting Island State Park is just outside of Beaufort and one of our favorites.....#1 CG in the State for a reason!!)

PS.....in the summer, there is a common saying" it's not the heat, it's the humidity!"

PPS....If you repeat it enough times JoeCamper, she'll believe it eventually  😀

Hope you get out soon and have a great time!  We will hopefully not be too far behind you.  I hope we have a long spring and fall so we can enjoy having all the windows open.

As odd as it seems both of our camping trip in '11 have had temps in the 60s (New Years weekend) to nearly 80s (weekend before last).
Good stuff fo-sho!

Gonna hafta use a slam phrase from one of my friends about being bit by the camping bug.  "There's a cream for that."  I say no cream, I'm going!

We've got a 4 day/3 nighter planned just north of DC in College Park, MD mid month. I'm more than ready!

I've got it bad, too.  I want to go to Blue Ridge, Georgia, to see my grandson who is in foster care there. The weather there is warmer than WV.  Last year I went camping the first week of May to Cumberland Gap and about burned up.  I'm ready, and I'll be flying the coop any day now. 🙂
