I have used my Mr. Buddy heater in my popup, in a tent, and in a van. The key is to not be stupid. Put it somewhere that you won't knock into it and have a problem. When I used it in a tent and in the van I put it on to take the chill out before I went to bed and then when I woke up I could stay in my sleeping bag and scoot over to it to start it and then lay back down for 10-15 minutes while it warmed things up.

If you are going to be camping with shore power, I would suggest buying 1 or 2 electric heaters (with a tip over switch) depending on how large your trailer is and how cold it may get ... 90% of the time we camp in the TT in the fall we pull out two electric heaters and run those instead of the furnace..
