Been considering joining Good Sam, or Passport America...still not sure if it is worth it or not...

actually, CampClubUSA is cheaper than PA, usually $40 for CW's Pres. Club members. between those two and the Happy Camper Club, you just need to see how many of each one's member campgrounds, are near where you camp.

we first joined CCUSA because they had more member CG's near us than PA  or HCC did.
now, it no longer does and even though it's cheaper, we'll probably go with PA this next time.
but we liked the campgrounds we used and it paid for itself.

Recreation USA only has a total of 9 CGs in California so we don't even consider them.

I'm a member of Thousand Trails, and have enjoyed my membership.  All the amenities make extended stays (more than 4 days) so much easier - I especially like the propane refill at each location.  The fact that TT is pet friendly was a motivating factor when purchasing the membership.  As I camp 50+ nights the annual dues are worth it.

I am also a member of Passport America which is at this point used solely for visiting my daughter in Fayetteville, NC, as they have Art's RV site (no frills, but full hookup) which is very close to my daughters residence.  I stay 7 nights at $12.50/night vs. $25./night and I've paid for my membership in savings and feel good about it.  There are restrictions for many of the PA parks, so be aware.

I have Good Sam also, and have only enjoyed two campgrounds with the 10% discount.  I do however appreciate the 10% discount on camping/lehigh-valley-rv-show supplies at these campgrounds.  (I have GS ERS which has been a lifesaver).

As a member of TT, I have a membership with RPI, and have really enjoyed one campground so far - nice to have the $10/night rate for full hookup and all the amenities - for visiting other relatives.

I have CCUSA, but it's a backup for my PA in the event I cannot get into Art's RV sites - there's another CG within 10 miles and it's CCUSA.

While I love State Parks, for a 2 week stay I was blowing $200+ and that was hard to justify when compared to the memberships for the same periods.

We are planning to join this discount deal becasue there are a few campgrounds that we already camp at each year.  With the discounts, I'm hoping we will get more days in this year. Now I just need to decide which package since they have 4 options?

I joined KOA last year as part of a cost savings when I took a trip to San Antonio.  My membership is about expired; this month.  I'm waivering about doing so again.  I don't see it.  It was good for what I did and needed, but overall, I'm not a parking lot camper.
