We were evacuated from Cape May over the weekend but made it thru the storm in good shape. A lot of wind, rain and a few tornados.
A few campers died while camping during the storm.

Wish you all the best!!!
Hope the flood waters didn't hit your area. We didn't have the PUP when the past hurricanes came thru here.
The good thing is you have the right camping gear to get by with. (excluding the well water)
We tied our PUP down before Irene came our way, luckily she stayed offshore enough that we didn't take the brunt of it.
CAMP DRIVEWAY
The power came back on around 10:30 AM . lost it on Sunday at 1:18 PM. Like others we have a well. (no electric no water / no water no flushing :'( ) Opened the PUP on Sunday evening around 7 turned the fridge and HW heater on propane and loaded it up. My neighbor has a generator so he has water which I used to fill the camper. Having a shower in the camper allowed us to have a hot shower each morning :).
The cassette potty also made it a lot easier. ( two features I will always have )
DW and DD where suppose to start School on Monday. They return tomorrow.
My office is in Fairfield NJ they tell us we wont be allowed back in until Monday.
Been working out of my car.
Having the camper, my gear and the knowledge gained from camping with my friends at Canvas Campers made the last few days more of an adventure then a hassle.
Our electric came back on last night around 6 pm - so we were just under 5 days without electric. I agree with Steve that it would have been a lot worse without the camper. We had filled the 20 gallon holding tank Friday before the storm hit, which helped a lot. We also had the benefit of the lanterns and propane fired appliances which none of our neighbors did.
I wouldn't exactly call it an "adventure" but it wasn't as bad as many in the eastern part of the state have it. Lots to be thankful for - no family members hurt, no water in the basement, no trees fell on the house...
