You must be logged onto Google.  Click on Maps.  Click on My Maps.  Create a Map.  Find your campgrounds on the map and then drag Placemarker down to the campground.  When the box comes up, type info for CG.  You can also change the placemarker icon by clicking on it.  When done.  Click on "SEND" in the upper right just above the map.  This will give you and email and also the hyperlink to your map.

I have a dual-purpose map.  The pushpins are places we've been the other marker is places I've heard about and/or want to go.

Help! I logged in, created a map, found my first location, where is the 'Placemarker' thingy to mark the location?

Sign in to Google (must have an account).  Click "My Maps" then you'll see the Edit key in the top left of the left menu.  Click that.  Then on the map the "toy options" come up.

Here's ours.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms.....5&z=6

The tents denote tent camping.
Cable cars are pop up camping (we've only had one since Nov for all practical purposes).
The route around the Chesapeake Bay was a trip we took.  Blew the timing belt on a Sunday morning in Armpit, Eastern Shore; hence the $ sign.
The two pins are where I bought the Apaches.

Our US map isn't so big because we've spent a great deal of our young adult lives overseas.  Here's our Eupopean adventures and they don't take into consideration my years of living in Scotland.

Thanks for the help

We just got our pup last year, so not too many with that.  The campfire is Cub Scout summer camp and the purple pins are where we want to get to.
