Ok, actually it is my second...... I'm going to the Spring Opener at French Creek first in March, but in April I am going to the TWIN GROVE KOA with the family and my wifes work friends.  I'm excited because it looks to be a very cool campground with lots to do.  And the rates were very reasonable, not what I expected.  $35 for the RV site with W/E/S and $25 for a tent site right behind it.  That was great they could put us both together with different equipment.  I have never been there but I like to go to new places.

Has anyone been here before?  What were your experiences?  My 3yo son loves carousels so I'm excited to see him on that and they have a jumping pillow and mini-golf.  These activities, friends, good food and beer looks to be a recipe for lots of fun that I'm looking forward to.

I've camped here a few times, it's off 81, just north of Harrisburg.

The campground is nice, tho many sites are in an open field.  It's not a problem early in the season.  The sites along the creek on the left side are the best.
You will notice a lot of cabins, that's because there is a large ATV park north of the campground in Tower City and people camp there and tow there ATV trailers to the park.
The pool is nice.  During the regular season, they have bands and other activities in the pavilions.  They have a train that drives the kids around the park. it was $1.  They have mini golf, other rides and an ice cream parlor.  There is also a full service restaurant and shop for a sit down meal.

The only thing I didn't care for is that we went swimming after packing up and moving our camper the day we were leaving.  They told us a little while later that it was check out time and had to pay $5 per hour, per person or leave the pool.  I told them that they sucked and go pound sand.

It is a nice campground, just a dumb rule.  I spent a lot of money there, it was father's day weekend and DD brought a few friends so it cost a lot to entertain them.

I'll be bringing my video camera, I'll post the vid after I go.

I did notice there were a lot of cabins there.  The cool think about the campground is they have real good close satellite images HERE is where I will be camping.  I'll be in the last spot that is showing empty in the line of RV's on the right and right behind it is grass and a parking pad which is the tent site.....which I think has trees behind it as well.

That's a nice area of the campground, near everything.  The round building to the right is an indoor carousel.
