Hey all you PUP PPL... I need some advice. I went to get the pup yesterday, and my cover was in shambles. I don't think that it was made to keep up with the GA heat and humidity. As soon as I started taking it off, it just fell apart.... literally. In the trash it went.
So does anyone have any suggestions for a cover for my HW27SC? I was looking on CW's website, and I see a couple, but I would rather see if anyone on here has luck with a particular one before I press the "buy it now" button.
Thanx for any help and I hope that everyone is finding themselves in a campground this week-end.
I have an ADCO cover that i bought on amazon.com its held up really well in the rain and snow of NJ and if you have a washing machine large enough you can put it in wash other wise you can lay it out on lawn and hose it off when needed it is made of breathable material lets air out and keeps moisture off the camper my cover has an elastic band around bottom and two nylon straps with quick release buckles that you pull down in rear it also has 2 large reinforce eyelet holes so you can use a rope or bungee under the camper to keep the wind from blowing it off. they run anywhere from 80.00 to 300.00 depending on the size of the camper. so far i am in my 3rd year with it and its holding up great 2 summers and 2 winters. I bought the neautral tan color so it blends into my property it sits next to a tan fence. I got one on amazon for 85.00 to cover my 16 foot pup. if you Google ADCO trailer covers a lot of dealers come up including camping world. Also do a search on EBay can find a dealer there for 25% off of retail all brand new in package. Best of luck and welcome to the canvas
here is a pictue of the cover on my pup in the winter last year!
We also had an ADCO cover for our 14' PUP (and sold it included). ldog, it held up great in the sun and heat of the GA sun and was doing very well through the winter snow and ice until I took a snow shovel to scrape off some of the heavy accumulation (4 inches ::) in Dec. 2010). Don't do that! The shovel made slices through the cover and I had to repair it. I did that with some iron-on fusing that I patched and ironed over the slices. Worked very well and hardly showed unless one knew where to look.
