I need to replace the broom at home so the one in the camper is moving to the house and I'm buying a new one for the camper.  I'm looking for one that doesn't take up a lot of space and this one at Wally World looks like it might work great.  Anyone else have any suggestion or thoughts of what they use or what to avoid?

It works pretty good Joe.
We've had one for a few years now and the twist locks for each section are now beginning to split and not hold.
Probably buy another. They're cheap enough.

Works well, but the twist locks tend to loosen pretty quickly.

Did I read that correctly?  :reader: You need to replace the broom in the house so you are moving the one from the camper into the house and buying a new one for the camper ???

You know you are addicted to camping when the house gets the camper hand-me-downs    ;D

Personally I just have an old paint brush that I use to sweep the camper out.

The subject line made me remember this - true story - - - - My buddy and I were working on his boat in the driveway one day.  The ladies from the Lions Club were going door-to-door selling brooms.  When they asked him if he would like to buy a broom, he asked "why, did my wife crash hers again?"  The lady was speechless  😮 and I 'bout fell out the boat laughing!!! ;D

My wife did not like that broom at all. Never could keep twist locks tight. Threw away and bought regular broom

We use a kids toy broom for the camper. It's small and does the job. I do not use it, It's our DS's job to sweep the pup out every morning and evening and to shake the rugs out.

I have that broom also, but I use the Shark Multivac the most.  Very lightweight, versatile, incredible suction, and it folds down for storage.

Kate's mom gave Cora a broom when she started to walk so naturally she wants to use it for the camper.  She did give me a pink dust pan and brush for father's day last year that we use when camping.

to hell with sweeping the camper....when I am camping I am relaxing by God! :)....haha
( seriously I know there are times when it must be done but overall I am not keeping anything spotless while on vacation....I would be leary of a plastic housing on a broom....seems like it would break to me)

we own the one in the photograph, and after three uses it was so loose that I could not use it unless I held it at the elbow where the broom meets the handle......I had to use it like a whisk broom....  it's a great idea in theory, because the telescoping handle and dustpan make it very compact, but it was very disappointing after getting to use it.
