Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
Usually, campers do enjoy the simpler things in life, such as a fire, family, food, outdoors, etc.; they can relax while not being a nuisance to others.
A small percentage of campers seem to think that camping gives them an excuse to 'let loose' regardless of who it might bother; their version of 'enjoying' life seems to delight in ignoring the social conventions (such as being considerate of one's neighbors) that ultimately make the world a better place. Then again, maybe I shouldn't even call such people 'campers', as they are more like people looking for an excuse to justify uncivilized behavior rather than those who want to enjoy the outdoors.

Unfortunately it seems like theres more people acting this way every year and not just while camping... Or maybe I'm just gettin' old... But I doubt it.
