I use a collapsible garbage can with a big bag for garbage and then I keep a smaller bag at the bottom of the can under the big bag for my recycling since I usually have beer cans which are a no-no in state parks. And Beer cans are the bulk of my recycling items when I camp.
I usually bring my recycling home because campgrounds want you to seperate everything and I have comingled recycling at home.

I definitely do recycle while camping. It seems to bass ackwards hanging out and enjoying nature and then trashing glass or aluminum.
I don't come totally prepared though. My first trip this year I used a cat litter bucket that I had carried something else in, this past trip I hung one bag from the side of my EZ up canopy for trash, another bag for recycling. With only two adults it's not hard to remember which is recycling and which is trash.
if I get a popup trash bag, I do like Lone Lock's idea of the hidden recycling bag.
