Does anyone else find themselves checking Craigslist or some other website for campers every day? But you already have a perfectly good one and have no plans on upgrading?
Am I weird?

Are you weird? Yes, but that's why we get along so well. :crazydance: Plus you let me know if there are any replacements for my starcraft POS out there
I think there's a thread similar to this one, so you're definitely not alone.
I'm the opposite, I have plans to upgrade, but not the money so I avoid looking 😉
I look. Not every day, more like every 1-2 weeks. I like my older PUP, but I would like to go over to the darkside sometime. It will bd hard to make the leap. The reason is, I have done a lot of work and it seems the more work you do, the more it becoms "yours."
DW wants something we can set up and take down more quickly. So far, I've held off that inevitability.
🙂
Are you weird? Well if you are, then I am completely insane and should probably be commited.
Yes I find myself "looking" quite often. Even going as far as getting my credit score, looking at the "usual" interest rates paid by those with similar scores, and figuring my "approximate" payment using the payment calculater (found on almost any dealers website).
Well its not all crazy stuff really. My house will be paid off in 3 years. So if I start saving a "very little" right now. By that time I can likely get about what I want, but it gives me a dream/reason to work/ETC. by looking.
Truth be told, it's an EXCELLENT idea. Who has the patience to educate themselves over several months on price/model/feature balance when the decide they want to take the plunge? Go ahead and do all that and you have a good running judgement of the pricing trends for used vs new. Besides, you just might stumble up on a super DUPER deal that you just can't pass up. Then you have two and you can either sell your old one or turn the new one for some camping funds. Win-win!
