Okay with five of us, that equals a lot of shoes inside the camper. Where do you put our shoes so you are not tripping over them?

Maybe outside under the step. Seems to work for us

Agreed. When we had the popup, we kept a short, wide rubbermaid tote by the door of the pup. At night, we closed the lid to keep moisture out & slid it under the pup.

That's a great idea, I may use it. Although, with my family tripping wouldn't be the main issue...it would be the pup getting "perfumed" by stinky shoes that would be my main concern ;D

I am a shoes on the feet type of person.  The only time they aren't on my feet is if I'm sleeping or swimming.  DW is a in the door kick off the shoes person....opposites attract.  I keep one spare pair of shoes in my bag and when I am sleeping my shoes are on the floor near my bunk so that I can either grab them or put them on soon after waking up.

I normally wear crocs while camping and leave them outside the camper door. The shoes are always in the way when in the camper.

Shoes in. It can be a pain, but we wear shoes outside of the pup, and most of the time is spent outside. At night, each person has their shoes at their end of the PUP, DD's are under the table. Works for us. No spiders in the shoes outside.

Here's a pic of our shoe control setup. It gets used most of the time but we are guilty of just kicking them off under the step also.

We have a hanging organizer that we've always used for shoes.  We may steal that idea of the tote outside the door.

We usually wear crocs so it's easy to slip them off and leave them under the step. If shoes do come in, they come off right inside the door and go into a hanging organizer. When it's just the two of us, it's not a big issue. When our son and family join us it becomes too much of a mess to do without the organizer.

It worked for us. We still kept a pair of "small shoes" (sandals, slides, mocs, etc) near our beds. But for big bulky sneakers, hiking boots, spare sneaks, soccer cleats, etc. the tote helped keep the clutter down a lot.

We keep 1 pair of shoes inside along with a pair of sandals, for those trips at night.
I don't leave my shoes outside don't want to find a snake or other critter using them for a bed.
The tub with a lid is a good idea though.
