Sleeping Bags or Bedding

Most tent campers probably use sleeping bags but I don't see why you can't or wouldn't use bedding in a popup or hybrid camper.  What do you use?  Do you leave it in the camper between trips?

we use bedding because the DW prefers that. i'd be fine with a sleeping bag.

we wash the bedding when we get home and then put it back in the hybrid. we furnish our hybrid as if it were a cottage.
the only thing we don't keep in it all the time, is food, some clothing/toiletries and outside stuff.

My wife is physically disabled and needs extra room to sleep. So due to the small size of the bunks, we each use a separate bunk. She uses bedding because it's easier for her to move around. I use a sleeping bag because it's easier to pack and takes up less room than the bedding. Besides, to me, being an old tent camper, it's just not "camping" unless I use a sleeping bag!  (I leave the bag in the PUP but not the bedding)

When it's warm out we use regular bedding.  When the temps start to drop we switch to sleeping bags. Our DS sleeps in his bag and the DW and I sleep with one unzipped bag below us and one over the top. If it gets real cold blankets are added as necessary.

We use bedding...flannel sheets and lots of comforters! I love to be snug under the covers when I camp! I wash the sheets after each trip and store them until we pack up for the next one. I wash the comforters after especially dirty trips (beach, lots of rain) or every 2-3 trips, whichever comes first.

In the spring, summer and fall we use bedding.  The fitted sheet stays on the beds and the top sheet comes off when we pack up the camper.  We also pack sleeping bags in the camper in case of cold weather.  Then, depending on just how cold it is, we either use the sleeping bag as a comforter, or if it is really cold, we zip it up and get inside.  I prefer bedding because it allows freedom of movement...however, can't beat a sleeping bag (especially a mummy) for warmth.

I use regular bedding as it's easier for me to wash in the washer.  I have trouble fitting sleeping bags in the washer.

My bunks have heated mattress pads too, which makes for cozy sleeping without all the weight of heavy blankets, etc.

I leave the bedding on the bunk when closed up - just move the pillows to the sofa or glide out.  We shower before bed, so the bedding doesn't need to be washed too often (the AC does a great job - no sweating when sleeping).

We use sleeping bags and just lay on top of them during the warmer summer days.

Yep, zipped together bag for us with a flat sheet inside. Separate bags & flat sheets for the boys.
And yes, the bunkbeds are always made up & ready btwn trips. We even have pillows that stay in the trailer. Our sleeping bag is folded w/ the sheet inside resting on one of the boys' beds. When setting up, I just pick up the whole thing & flip it open on the bunk or sofa, if we're turtling.

We use regular bedding. Take the sheets out and wash them after each trip and wash the comforter every 2 or 3 trips depending on how wet or dirty the trip is.

DW likes the bedding, I have a heavy saddle blanket that keeps me warm. The boys like their sleeping bags no matter what.

We use sheets and a sleeping bag unzipped if needed.  In cooler months we use a flat sleeping bag under us and  one top.  If it is really cold (under 45) we can turn on the furnace.

Real, real warm: sheet only

On the cool side: same sheet with a light blanket

Getting downright chilly: use the unzipped sleeping bag as a comforter

On the cold side: zip the sleeping bag closed and use as such

Really getting cold: sleeping bag with that blanket

Downright cold: pack up and go home

The DW likes to use sheets and a blanket and I still like to use a sleeping bag.  Since we each use a bed it works just fine.  Charlie the dog :dog: doesn't seem to care and sleeps with either of us as he see's fit...

We have mattress pads and fitted sheets but use sleeping bags. Sheets and bags live in the house. We might consider bedding if we could leave it in place when we folded up but I doubt it. It gets cold where we camp and a sleeping bag is better for that. We turn off the furnace to sleep.

We use sheets and blankets. We were told, when we bought our teardrop, to sew the foot end of the sheets together so you don't have to tuck them in to anything. Feet stay covered even when they hang over the end of the bunk. It is also easier to make the bed.
