Posted our pup on craig's list and don't you know the first person who called, drove over from Rome, GA and took it home with them. I couldn't believe 😀 how fast the pup sold. Of course, I was a bit upset and sad :'(, that I was not here at home when the transaction took place. Told DH that I needed to check them out to make sure they were gonna take good care of our pup.
Needless to say, on October 27, we picked up our new Greywolf. I had to leave for training on the 28th and didn't get back into to town until Nov. 4, do you know how hard that was for me to not be near our new toy and getting it all set up! Now I'm trying to make up for lost time and get "Wolfie" ready to camp this weekend. DGD has a scout jamboree at the Talladega Speedway on Saturday, so we found a campground about 5 miles from there. We figured we would give Wolfie a test run, about 20 miles from home. I'm sure we'll be the only ones at the CG, cause there' no races and that is a good thing. If I knew how to post a photo I would be showing her off.
Congrats on the new Camper! You need to start you a new photo album since you will be camping more! out of the 2 web sites, look at other peoples photo albums under their name. Most albums is free. So check'em out and start you a album with your new camper so we can see it before the spring rally! And Congrats on selling the pup real quick! See Ya at the rally! FCJ
Judy, I figured I better be ready for an open house at the rally. Should I serve [s]hor'dvores[/s] snacks? ;D . We do plan to get quite a bit more camping with this baby, now it won't matter what the weather.
@Jammer, I wish I knew who the new owners are, Larry wasn't much on formalities, he just wanted it gone. I would have certainly sent them on over to CanvasCampers. We bought the Greywolf 26BH. It's not really big, or real fancy, but it does have two sleeping areas.
I went out tonight to unpacked some of our stuff and tried to organize it a bit. It was so pleasant, almost wanted to tuck myself in for the night.
