Our dogs name is Charlie. We "claim" we bought our Pup for him. Thinking about naming it "Travels with Charlie" but thinking it's a little corny...
MA_Kev... What about "The Dog House"? Could have multiple meanings, but definitely works for Charlie. ;D
Our pup doesn't have a name yet. I've suggested a few, but DH has vetoed them all so far.
Mine is named Mariska Hargitay. It took me over a year to find a camper that was in ok shape, and in my price range. The night I got it I kept dreaming over and over a skit with Mariska Hargitay (Olivia Benson in Law & Order SVU) and Mike Myers. Later that morning I looked up the skit, and Mike Myer's character said "Mariska Hargitay" instead of "Namaste" to people. His meaning of Mariska Hargitay was "Strength through adversity, because as a child she was in a terrible auto accident where her stepfather was killed and her mother was decapitated. I love the idea of strength through adversity, and since I dreamed about it and my camper at the same time, my camper got that name!
Oh my, this in no way can compare to "the to-go box" (too funny), "The Jammit Inn" (fab), or my personal favorite....."the stay-free mini pad" (that's amazeballs). I own a 1975 Apache :chief: Ramada and it's green. Green on the outside, and green on the inside. As we all know, it ain't easy being green :turtle: <who me?>...so it's name is Kermit ;D
LOL...too true! However, my husband spent many years in the service, and I know if I decided to call it a clam-anything, he would have far too much fun thinking of variations of the theme, so I think I'll keep Kermit LOL
They re-cut the end of the crank and once again, the metal just bent. He's stopping at the hardware store on his way home to get a socket, and will have a slot cut in that. Hopefully that will stay un-bent. The metal is just so thin and oxidized, I think that must be why. Anyway, it ain't easy being green...as in it ain't easy to get open LOL ;D.
