I got lucky and bought a popup with a front storage trunk, not really foreseeing how essential it is.  ::)  I would not be able to go camping without it!  I literally put any and everything in there... while storage a few things the hallway, etc.  I will not buy a PUP, ever, that does not have a storage trunk but a majority of the popups I see on the road don't have a trunk so how do you cram everything you need for the trip into a PUP with no front storage trunk?  How do you do it?

i had one pup with front storage and one without. but i always pulled with a pickup or SUV, so i had just as much storage in them as i did in the pup's front storage area.
now that i have a hybrid, which has no such outside area, i still use my truck's bed but the hybrid has tons of inside storage. only some bulky items go in the truck. all my chairs go in the hybrid. i still have lots of space inside the hybrid for more bulky items.

I have a Livin Lite Quicksilver 8.0.  I extended the rear bumper out 20 inches and mounted a front opening 72" long diamond plate aluminum truck box on it. Since Quicksilvers are aluminum framed and very light, it would have really caused a problem with tongue weight, but I planned it to balance out the 150 lbs. of 6 volt golf cart batteries I mounted on the front end.  Worked out perfectly.  The tongue weight is almost exactly the same.  Couldn't be happier with the Mod!
