I got so excited that the day was warm (45 deg F) and the snow was melting - so I decided to hook up and attempt to pull out my new-to-me popup (1998 Rockwood 1908).

Took me a long time to realize that was a bad idea.  Long enough to rip up the side lawn into a mud-bog.

...Lesson Learned

I've done the same thing a few times myself.  I have used my tire chains more in the mud in my backyard than in the snow.

I moved mine at 6 am this morning while the ground was still frozen (30 degrees) didn't want to hear my wife like a Re-pete of last year. Dragged it into the driveway, went back to sleep then after it warmed up  to 50 degrees i popped the top and Un-winterized her and put my good tires and wheels back on for the season.

It's been raining here, off and on, all day. I went out to throw some grass seed down on the yard and was sinking into the ground just walking around. Yes, I may have put on a few pounds over the winter but I'm pretty sure the camper will stay put for now. Rain is supposed to turn to snow tonight anyway so it's not like we're going camping anytime soon.

Yep got into trouble myself too yesterday !! Put the new canvas on that I bought from Bear Creek Canvas and of course the yard was all mud. Mud got tracked into the camper and of course the house. She saw the mud in the camper from walking in and out , not good . Then the mud in the entrance to the house, you guessed it , the rest is history !!! I was going to pull the camper up from the back yard but  she stopped me  from doing that. Well at least I tried !!!
